The Industry Years

I came up through kitchens, front of house, management, and events. I gave hospitality my mornings, evenings, weekends, and most of the years that felt like they mattered.

02

The Breaking Point

Burnout is rarely a single event. It is the slow normalization of conditions no good operation should accept.

03

The Work Now

Today I help hospitality leaders see the operational patterns behind turnover, silence, and exhausted management.

“If you want better retention and stronger productivity, start by giving your managers tools that actually support people in real time.”

What Grounds This Work

Lived experience, operational language, and a practical retention lens.

I’ve spent 25+ years inside hospitality, learning where operations, management, and retention hold or break.

I also support hospitality communities through HIVE and CHOW, and I wrote The Empty Apron to help industry people name what they are carrying and build a healthier way forward.
